Just wondering if anyone knew of some good fiction books that deal with the Wars of the Roses. |

Agree, just read the Sunne in Splendour, excellent book! I'll ask the wife for some later – she's the WotR buff in this house (and there are lots of books in this house!) |

Uh, "The Lord of the Rings"? Sorry. Couldn't help myself. See the other "WOTR" thread further down. There is a new pretender trying to usurp this acronym.

She Who Must Be Obeyed says read: We Speak No Treason: The White Rose Turned to Blood by Rosemary Hawley Jarman ( link ) As well as The Sunne in Splendour ( link ) Both can be found on Amazon for 1p! Black Arrow is okay but not 100% historical and not big sweeping epics like the above. Shakespeare is pure Tudourist propaganda twaddle ( according to SWMBO ) ! |

Re "Shakespeare is pure Tudourist propaganda twaddle (according to SWMBO)!" But he is asking for fiction! |
