I have the first two turns of my French vs. Prussian battle posted on my blog.

The Prussians have repulsed several French attacks thus far…

Excellent job! I'm just starting out with 15mm Prussia as my 1st foray into painting Napoleonics, though 6mm and 25mm are pulling at me instead. Great inspiration. Your bases look a little large for 15mm. What size are they? I assume your board is 4x8?

BTW being an armchair N scale model railroader right now, I also like your model railroad blog. Great city modeling in HO.

Nice report thank you. What rules are you using?

From the look of it I think he's using Piquet:Field of Battle…

Nice! I have been slowly working on my French Naps 20mm for FOB. My son is working on Prussians.

Thanks,

John

Nice guess Dave Gamer -- it is indeed Piquet: Field of Battle. When the battle is done, I'll be posting a review of the rules. I've had them for awhile, but this is my first test of Napoleonics with them.

Troops are 15mm, almost all Old Glory with a few Battle honors here and there. Base sizes are 1x1.5 inches. Board is 4x8 feet.

What size are your Cavalry and artillery bases Todd?

Thanks,

John

The cavalry bases are the same as infantry, just turned sideways -- so 1.5"x1", the artillery are 1.5" x 2" (I think, I don't have one in front of me right now). I just went with what looked right to me and didn't worry about anything else.
