Does anyone do WWWI minis in 15mm currently? |

I doubt it, since this is not a genre that I have even heard of before. I don't think there are even any dedicated Weird World War TWO minis out there in 15mm, let alone WWW ONE. |

Sounds like you have a new set of rules to come up with and I have a new set of minis to suggest at Wargames Factory! (ducks from incoming stones). |

There was a great Adventure for Call of Cuthulu about a group of USA soldiers from the lost Battlion fighting the horrors caused by the war. They even ran it as a LARP at Gencons. Bill D |

I dont see why it couldnt be as viable a period as Weird WWII. The figures could work as alternate universe/timeline WWI or a SF minis that use throw-back marterials (like GW Death Korps troopers). I'm trying to drum up interest at WF already: link |

If they end up as a WF proposal, I'll reserve some sprues. They would work great in a grim, dark, 15mm far future

Cheers for the support Ivan. If the idea gets some more support I will post it to WF and leave a note here. Here is the narartive from the WF suggestion: Since you could get at least 20-25 minis on 1 sprue (maybe more) in 15mm you could figure 4 heavy machinegun crew, 2 HMG's, and 15-18 attacking infantry for the first sprue (including platoon leader, SAW gunner and Missile or grenade launcher). A second sprue could include 4 heavy artillery or 6 trench mortars and crew. Maybe later, siege artillery and retro WW1 tanks/ aircraft. Basic design of the infantry minis would not have to be very fancy (no 1000 page threads!). I figure late WW1 German trench raider w/ basic flak vest and a gas mask plus a retro assault rifle would look NF/SF enough while still retro. 2 Basic sprues could give you every thing you need for a platoon at 1:1 scale or a Regimnet at 1:30 scale! Of course Brits, Frogs, Austrians, Russians Serbs, Turks, Amies, and Bulgars could follow if the germans sold well! Peter Pig do some very nice Late WW1 German stormtroopers in gasmasks which match many of your concept pics and Eureka's Sci Fi Germans are also available in the meantime. Plus Pig do Russian priests and nuns! If you want Eastern Front Weirdness! But yeah, go for it! Cheers Mark |

Thanks Mark. I like the Eureka figs, but the line is incomplete at the current time. The Peter Pig lads are good too but all the ones in masks are tossing grenades which would get pretty repetitive if painting a lot of 'em! Cheers for the encouragement. Interest is slowly trickling in! |

Not exactly the kind of weird war stuff you're talking about, but the WW 1 horror movie "Deathwatch" might suggest an interesting scenario for a game. Bruno |

Peter Pig also do spare skull, lizard, wolf and ,of course, rabbit(!!) heads that you could add to your figs. |

These rebelminis.com/sain.html might be of some use. For the most part in 15mm and smaller you could just use regular 15mm Great War troops with a few "paint brush conversions". What I would really like to see in any scale is WWI troops that are skeletons (or corpses) in uniform. I think I can scrounge or easilly convert everything else from existing minis. |

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Gear Krieg yet. link and the eureka figs, do you mean those heavily armed ones? link |
