link And its not even April 1st anymore
Don't hit that link at work, by the way. They've got the Voltron theme track running as an audio accompaniment to the page, voice of Optimus Prime and all. |

Neat. Whatever will they CMG next!? |

I really like a lot of these figs. I especially like that they go to the effort to properly license IPs. The buildings I've seen are are majorly cool! But
I just can't buy a box of figs without knowing what I'm getting. Call me an old crusty mini gamer. Just sell me what I want, not a box of
? Regards, the Gorb |

Ya know I really have no interest in this game but I'm going to have to get some Voltron minis. I hope they just do the lion one cuz the vehicle one suxazz. |

So which lion is going to be the super rare one that you can't assemble Voltron without? |

"And I'll form the head!" I've loved Voltron since I was a kid. Come to think of it, I had a Voltron figure that would have been perfect to use for Miniature wargaming. To bad I lost it a long time ago
I've been meaning to buy some MonPoc figures for Kaiju anyway, this just makes it all the sweeter
How tall are the average monster figures anyway? |

So which lion is going to be the super rare one that you can't assemble Voltron without? Based on how they are going to package the 'morpher' monsters (conceptually similar to Voltron) in the next expansion, I'd say the likely answer is none of them- the 'morphers' come with all their component units in the same box, no reason Voltron wouldn't. I hear people on not likely the randomized purchasing (it took me a long time to get over that, and I still plan to turn to eBay to get a couple of pieces), but MonPoc at least doesn't go out of it's way to screw it's players- everything is usable out of the box. I'm personally not sure how I feel about licensed products- the original MonPoc setting had definitely grown on me. -Will |

might be very interesting. I might pick up the minis. Voltron is on Hulu, in case you didn't know. link |

"MonPoc at least doesn't go out of it's way to screw it's players- everything is usable out of the box." And "common" does not mean "useless". |

No love for vehicle-Voltron

Frankly, IF you wanted to get one *sculpt* of everything, you'd only need to buy one case of Monster Boosters and one case of the other boosters. It's not cheap, but their 'Randomization' is pretty good. |

Ah
it would be the campy Lion Voltron! With the vehicle voltron you would get some proper military gear: warships, infantry, tanks, attack jets, etc, etc
Could be fun- a nice slug fest between a Galaxy Alliance fleet (with Voltron) going toe-to-toe with a Drule attack squadron with a proper mecha/robeast. <sighs> I guess we get silly witches, blue cats, and space mice to support our mecha
<sighs> |

Of course Volton is now doing a deal with Monsterpocalypse – in case some of you are interested. link I don't know if this a good thing or not – it brings some more cheese to something already a bit cheesy, but very well done. Mind you, there's nothing wrong with cheese and this game is more like a block of cheese – a solid product – and not melted cheese on pizza per se. |
