Hi All, Does anyone know of a manufacturer of standing or kneeling 20mm US Airborne artillery crews? I have the SHQ crews, but most of them are prone. since the rules I use reserve prone figures for pinned/suppressed markers, I need crews who are at least kneeling, but preferably standing. RE: the previous thread: I promise to put great thought into the shade I paint their uniforms! :-) Thanks! |

Hi Crunchy, I just started getting some of the Kelly's Heroes from Andrew at grubbytanks.com They list 2 crews KH-USPARA1 5 man artillery/A-Tank gun crew in various poses KH-USPARA26 Gun crew (3 figures) I don't have these yet so I can't comment on the poses – ie standing kneeling etc. I also suggest a look at Fantassin warmodelling.com Pack WWUSP-09 contains kneeling gun crew for a 57mm at gun FAA have combo standing kneeling gun crew in pack PIR 10 link I have found the Fantassin and Kelly's Heroes compatible but the SHQ and FAA are slightly smaller in comparison. Update: Sgt. Major's Miniatures has released a very nice set of US Airborne artillery crewmen with spotter and RTO: sgmm.biz/products.htm None of the usual dealers seem to have it in stock yet, but Sgt. Major's says you can order direct. |
