Subject: Breguet Br.693
Manufacturer: Creations Chaubet link
Scale: 1/144
Medium: white metal
Price: €18.00 EUR

The kit consists of a one piece fuselage/wing/tail assembly, landing gears, propellers, decals, and a bit of wire picture . The mini required a little cleaning but nothing too demanding. The kit has very fine lines identifying canopy and observation panels and windows. The control surfaces are also finely outlined. Holes for the landing gears are pre-drilled as are those for the pitot tube, antennas, and gun barrels (saves a lot of time for me and I didn't break any drill bits or punch any holes into my fingers). The decals are separate from each other so you don't have to cut them apart. The tail flash decal was a little smaller than the rudder but it was easy enough to add some red, white, and blue paint to extend the flash to and around the edge of the rudder.

Recommendation: Nice mini, I recommend it. If you can work with a True North miniatures mini you can work with this. The price for the mini might seem a bit high but for me the pre-drilled holes for the gun barrels, landing gears, and pitot tubes are worth the extra money (not to mention the decals & unique model).

Check out the Creations Chaubet website (first link above) as there are some very interesting models there, many not available in 1/144 any place else.

Nice! That's a hefty hunk o' metal, though…

How quick are they on shipping and delivery?

VSB, order to delivery was 5 1/2 weeks. As best I can figure actual transit time was 3 weeks. There were 6 models in the order. I believe they're cast, cleaned, and the holes drilled once the order is paid. Kevin

Makes ya want to get a few for your Me-109s to work over, doesn't it? They look great, Kev.
