Cherry trees in bloom, each on its own individual base, are very cool.

Nice! I nicked your idea of using that wooden model for the roofs and ordered one just now. Thanks for that idea!

Are the tiles on the roof corrugated cardboard?

dsfrank10 Apr 2009 5:09 a.m. PST

roof tiles are vacu-formed – as is the stone work – from precision products – don't remember the specific sheet name but here is the website – aiii.info/index.html

Beautiful work that would grace any tabletop.

Inspiring work, I can honestly say my temple is not measuring up to that work of beauty but it does inspire me to try a few techniques there while it's still a WIP.
Bravo!

Among many other things in the layout, I love the koi in the pond. Very nice attention to detail that gives the temple complex some very pleasant personality.

That looks awesome. Almost makes me ashamed of the simple one I made. Good job !

You are my hero. I bow my head in shame for my pitiful efforts.

Where did you get the Cherry Trees. I've been looking for them since forever?

I haven't been able to figure out how to cut pieces for the oddly curved rooflines, when the valleys & peaks of several sides join together.

How did you do the fancy ridgeline pieces on the hips? The ever-widening conical sections?
