I am interested in trying the CWG Legendary Battles fantasy rules by Barry Richardson and was wondering if there are any web lists or other support for the rules which are OOP. In particular I am looking for information on creating units as there is not a full Dark Elf list. I would also be interested in hearing what gamers thought of the rules.
Thanks,
Brian

TMP link

There's a bit of info in TMP's old rules directory including an overview and a couple reviews.

Thanks I found the old TMP review link. What I need is the formula for creating new unit types. Interestingly that is exactly what one of the reviewers in the link above was looking for.

Hi, I actually had created a rough system for designing units when the rules first came out. It worked ok. It was never put into Word or PDF format and is buried somewhere if it still exists. Have you seen their supplement for the rules? Lots of extras in it.

I liked the rules. Lack of a design system was a BIG issue.

Thanks,

John

There is a supplement? Where can I find it?

Advanced Legendary Battles contained new armies and contingents (Dark Elf Brethren, being one). Depending on how you interpret Dark Elves, you might want to pick one of the other lists (High Elves?, Brettonnian?) and compare the point values from those to the DE contingent.
