My painted zombies currently fit in two 80 figure Chessex cases. Once I get the others painted and based I'm going to also have storage space issues. picture picture |

5 months later I have over 110 zombies painted, a few handfuls of survivors and victims and a hundred or two more zeds ready to be painted. I'm been fun and I'm just getting started! |

I'm with you all the way, Rog! I've just passed the 300 mark for my painted zeds. I'm looking forward to reaching 500. Easily doable, I reckon! |

With the plastic ones and some milliput etc, I've no duplicates yet, at least not easily recognized. Add the more popular pewter ones for leavening and you can get a very individualized horde, ,,,,until you begin to re-use them. |

BASED on my previous experiences with pure strain genestealers, BUGs, and THEM!, in skirmish games, i would say at least 100 ZEDs is enough to keep my folks busy for any scenario. i actually own about 50 ZEDs from different makers in 28-mm scale, but, next month, i am cashing in some of my chips and getting at least two boxes of WGF plastic ZEDs to give my on rotter horde some tabletop heft.
i am also spring for the ATZ tokens made by LITKO AEROSYSTEMS, and have decided that the classic crime scene corpse out lines from SPINESPUR would enable me to leave the really dead rotters where they drop, and recycle the ZED minis during a game.

The only good zombie is a dead zombie is a
, hmm that is rather redundant
I would think for any game where you want the heroes to have a chance (slower zombies that is) then x2 zombies then ammo that they can get
a person can out run any single or small mob if clear path and somewhere to get to safety, so they could shoot half and get away from the others. But a rough number would be 1:20 for me. Five players with one character and 100 zombies on the table at any given time with the FUBAR zombies being replaced at the tables edge or preset recycle/refresh points
I like endless zombies for a slow zombie game
fast zombies freak me right out, no spank you. |
