This is a fairly detailed walkthrough of a Sharp Practice scenario played out solitaire. I originally posted it on the 'Sharp Practice Camp' forums. Some might find it useful to see how the mechanics work in play. It ought be said that I made some mistakes as I went through, did a couple of small things wrong, and threw in a fair number of House Rules to boot but the heart of the mechanics are right.

Great ! This is just to way (for me, at least) to begin to understand rules. I hope to use them for the Carlist War. Thanks for this info !

How did you make your markers?

Thanks

The markers are made with two GW round bases. Windows are cut onto each and then they are placed bottom to bottom with a cardstock disk inserted between them. The bases are then glued together by the outsides, ensuring that the disk is still able to spin.

It should be noted that I made a mistake in part four with the dragoon charge. Although both defending infantry groups in the formation will share the losses, only the group actually contacting the cavalry would have fought.

Excellent! Thanks for posting that. My buddy and I are planning on introducing to the club as an alternative to the normal games of Bolt Action and Team Yankee… Interesting that you played it solitaire. I will try that as well and have your play by play handy. Thanks again!
