Hello Gentlemen

Firstly I apologise for the length of time it has taken for me to announce the going ons with Flashpoint Miniatures Ltd, as you can appreciate I have been busy getting things ready once again for relaunch… but however due to a recent change in circumstances I have submitted and opted to bow out of pursuing the Flashpoint Miniatures Ltd Vietnam and Middle East lines.

I have sold all Flashpoint Miniatures moulds (made prior to September 2008) and exclusive rights for the Flashpoint Vietnam and Flashpoint Middle East ranges to Drew Byrkmire and Ken Cole of Siege Work Studios in Australia.

This decision came about as a result of several key changes in my life both personal and professional and I wish Siege Work Studios and the existing Flashpoint lines all the best in the future.

Siege Work Studios Australian Manufacturing facility that will be running the Flashpoint Miniatures moulds is up and running at full speed and is in eager anticipation for the moulds which will be leaving New Zealand shores shortly bound for Queensland Australia.

Ken Cole of Siege Work Studios has since informed me that first production should commence around April 2009 and all the existing ranges including the brand new US Army range released only 6 weeks prior to Flashpoint going into hiatus, the accompanying M113 never released, and the new NVA which were moulded and scheduled for release two weeks prior to our departure will be ready and available for purchase.

Siege Work Studios will continue to run the moulds under the Flashpoint Vietnam and Flashpoint Middle East brands, although the company name Flashpoint Miniatures Ltd and the business/plant/machinery itself remains the property of myself.

At this current point in time I will have no further association with the two lines I developed over the several year period that we operated and all rights associated with the moulds have now been passed over to Siege Work Studios.
Ken also informs me that their new website hosting the Flashpoint ranges will be up and running in the next 1-2 weeks however the url has changed to…
flashpoint-miniatures.com

Siege Work Studios have indicated that the packs previously offered by myself will receive a composition overhaul with attention to detail focussed on OOBs and other historical changes, the goods news also to this is that customers can expect a price reduction of up to 10% in accordance with the changes.

I wish Drew and Ken all the best for their future endeavour and look forward immensely to watching them grow the lines both current and in the future. Having worked with both of them in different contexts over the years I am sure that they will do a fantastic job launching into this new period (for them) and growing it for the benefits of the customers.

A big thank all of you who have supported myself and Flashpoint Miniatures Ltd over the years, its been a wild ride and I have enjoyed being part of this community.

As to what new ventures I will be releasing in the future…watch this space.

Kindest regards
Anton Ducrot

Anton,

Thanks for passing on this info.

For those who do not know me I am Ken Cole, one of the directors of Siege Works Studios and I have been associated with Anton and Flashpoint from early on and aided Anton in develpoing his web site and the second edition rules which were never released.

Hey there Ken,

So, I know this is probably WAAAAYYYY early to ask, but is there a vague time frame when Flashpoint Middle East stuff might be coming out?

TailEndCharlie02 Apr 2009 2:48 p.m. PST

TankerJake,

The existing Middle East range, Delta's, Rangers, Militants, will all be manufactured starting Mid April, so lets say they are ready and bagged for shipment by late April, I hope that is early enough for you. :-)

Dang! I was planning for summer sometime. Nice to see them coming out so soon. Thanks for the heads up.
