Hi guys,

I've just found out about this range of siege equipment –

I have been led to believe that they are true 25s, but can anyone tell me how big they look when used with 28mm figures – are they true 25s or small true 25s?

See Jeff's RAFM ballista used with Essex crew here (bottom of the page):

They are very good and will work with 25mm or 28mm.

Considering there was no standard size for these weapons does it really matter? The Siege Engines line is one of RAFMs better catalogue sections.

I think you're good to go with 28's.

Agreed with Jamesonsafari – torsion catapults were (apparently) designed according to standard proportions, such that larger catapults were scaled-up versions of smaller ones.

Excellent designs, but I would suggest you don't use the smaller ones with 28s.

Thanks guys
