Well today is the day that the Monsterpocalyse I Chomp NY set comes out today. I'm getting 2 cases plus the guide book as well. In addition i'm getting 5 of the Special figures i think they're the S-Type Sinobi,so i'm looking forward to this. I'd like to know who got what and what they thought of this new set. I too picked up two bases Captain – I hope your distribution is better than mine. Was very lopsided unit wise and out of my sealed monster case – I pulled 4 doubles!!! So now I have to trade to get the set – The case I bought for 'Rise' I pulled complete set of monsters. Good luck mate – and if you double up like I did – drop us a line. Ben. |

I ordered some 'I CHOMP NY' Martian singles and Lords of Thule singles from Pop coll, (but no images up yet of WHAT they look like)… I WISH they'd put up the IMAGES of the stuff AT LEAST on the day they release stuff…if not BEFORE…'blind packaging' is one thing…but not even knowing what all the factions NEW stuff is until after a bunch have already been sold (which can sometimes be 'dissappointing'/I wouldn't have bought the PACKS if I'd known what the selection was like etc)…. Sigh… oh well… I'm still trying to just build my TENTACLE and MARTIAN collections… Sometimes it's just Slish! (or become BAIT!)

Yep, those are the two factions my wife and I built up in the first set. We haven't gotten around to playing as much as I'd hoped, but should be fixing that soon. |

Just picked up a few. Oh my. Terrasaurs got the mobility boost they were needing. Their non-flying monster is fascinatingly brutal. There are some interesting new defensive talents, actions, and triggers. If you thought dice pool synergies could get complex before, hoo boy. Several units are now carting around abilities that were only available to monsters in set 1. One of the Guard Monsters is disgustingly mobile in a fight. Time to rethink what we thought of the factions from Set 1. |

That's too bad Boromirandkermit regarding the Monster doubles. I was able to get the whole set of Monsters plus the 4 buildings as well. As for the units i believe i got a good selection and some look pretty good as well. So overall i'm very pleased with what i got and add to that the 5-C-Type Sinobi Promo figures,and the Strat Guide it was a very good day. Captain Gideon |
