Hey folks,

Now that we've learned the rules, I broke the camera out and got some shots of our Rome vs. Parthia game.

Thanks, enjoyed that. This will be the next ruleset that I pick up.

Nice report. Thank you.

But before you start to go from 400 to 500 pts. paint some casuality marker. It will really improve the look of the battle and is worth the work.

great report, great pics.

thank you!

Nice game and report. I hope Impetus is gaining more Impetus.
How about swapping the clumpy markers for something scenic ? It would detract less from your great set-up.

Good stuff mate, always like a look at your blog every so often to inspire to get back to painting my 6mm.

Quick question Are you using the half 28mm size bases or striaght 15mm base sizes?

How about swapping the clumpy markers for something scenic ?

A good plan. I intend to do this, but with all the other projects, it keeps getting swept aside. Any ideas? I don't have any casualties figures at this scale.

Are you using the half 28mm size bases or striaght 15mm base sizes?

Half size. All of our bases have 6cm frontage. FP and FL have 3cm depth, S have 2 cm depth, and cavalry are 4cm.

Thanks for the comments everyone,
J

Jet, take some half-dry clay, press-in a few dead figs, prise them gentlyout then cast a pellet of hot glue in the mould. let it harden, prise it out and paint. Bingo semi-relief markers.
For disorder set a standard bearer behind the unit, for oppurtunity set a standard/officer in front. ?

mashrewba21 Mar 2009 9:17 a.m. PST

An alternative to a standard bearer could be a fig shouting "Come on then" to stand out front etc.
Love these rules.

Thanks for the info Jet
