Anyone out there played the PC game Battleship Chess? Its a small game from an independent game company. Its based on WWI naval combat.

Its not realistic at all, but its a fun little tactical exercise. The graphics are cool in a cartoony sort of way, and the sound is excellent.

Its a fun way to kill 20 min or so if you're waiting around. You can check it out at apezone.com.

Just occurred to me that I probably have never mentioned it here before, even though its one of those 'fallback' games where I just want to relax and kill some time without concentrating too hard. Its a lot of fun. . . and it has a free demo you can download.

I've played it a number of times--especially if you have only a half hour or so to kill. I enjoy playing against another player--you can link another player's PC over the web and go head to head.
