As a bot of a change from my SYW Prussians I recently did some woodland Indians for the FIW part of my SYW project. Work has recently been really interfering with my painting time
. Partly due to this and partly due to the nature of the casts I decided on a rather "free" style of painting. I wish I was better at taking pictures. Something odd has happened with the contrast – particularly noticeable with the flesh. Maybe the sun's too bright at the moment. picture picture picture picture picture picture |

Thanks for the compliments. I bought figures from Perry, Conquest and Front Rank. I think these are all Perry but not 100% sure. |

try a light grey or light green background as white has too much reflection for flash work. if you have a photo program some have auto repair of brightness try that also. all good otherwise, thanks for sharing cheers matt |

If you are using a digital camera, try turning off the flash and using an overhead flourescent lighting. That method works pretty well for me. |
