It looks fantastic. Quatre Bras is a great battle to recreate as a wargame (I remember fighting it in about 1971 on a sand-table…).

The BIG question is, did the Herzog von Braunschweig survive?
Second question. Did his troops perform well?

Doug
3rd question – did I spell his name correctly in German? grin

"The BIG question is, did the Herzog von Braunschweig survive?"

Our rules are very deadly for Generals. But in two games he survived.

"Second question. Did his troops perform well?"

I dont remenber why, but in the games they were used very cautiously. So no heroic actions, but no flight either. Picton and his men did the job.

"3rd question – did I spell his name correctly in German?"

Yes, you did. But you were clever enough to avoid his full name. ;-)

Do you mean Wolfenbuttel-Oels? (I can't find an umlaut on my keyboard grin)

Very well done!

In particular the modelling of the battlefield to suit the scale of the figurs is superb.

They are a doormat, cut into pieces and highlighted. Very simple.
