Hello all! First off, there have been updates recently at the House of War, which had been quiet of late
a game of Spacehulk, some 10mm Napoleonic table shots, some 15mm ACW unit features
all sorts of goodies to check out! Coming up next
a review of the new Scott Mingus Brother against Brother Scenario book! I did want to ask for some small suggestions though
I had, until recently, kept a list on the side of the blog of "Recent updates." However, I think this is redundant, as entries are listed anyway in a nice list. I have replaced this, for now, with a collection of what I deem to be "interesting former blog entries" for folks to check out. Does this seem useful? Or can folks think of another use for that space? Anyway
there is a blog post today about this where you can make suggestions, so please, suggest away! Thanks! link |

Well done mate. There are some awesome and inspiring shots in that post. Especially the one from the side across the whole table. I think it really captures Napoleonic battles showing all arms with massed columns advancing on solid lines holding defensive positions. Nice work. If I didn't have so much Adler 6mm I would probably get into the 10mm. They seem like a very nice compromise on size and detail. The only thing I would suggest is to reduce the amount of stuff on the left. You have the labels or contents and also the archive. I tend to lean towards one or the other. And maybe run your contents in alphanumberic order. If I want to see the 6mm stuff I have to read through all the contents to see where they are. I find also the new gadget called Followers to be good. That way other bloggers can actually attach to your blog and know when updates occur. Oh, and add The War Depot blog to your list of other sites you recommend, he he. (just jokes, up to you) Keep up the good work, my Lord. Regards, David wardepot.blogspot.com | milsims.blogspot.com |

Howdy all, Just put up some more 10mm Napoleonic shots. However, the main reason for posting here is that I just wanted to say
if anyone has any request for photos, please just let me know:) For example, if you think a big cavalry charge on squares would be great, or you want to just see all the Old Guard arrayed for battle, or whatever, please request away and I'll see what I can do!:) |

LA Lovely, lovely inspiring stuff. Just a thought: have you considered a sky back drop inside the edges of your table? I saw it done with a Trafalgar game 'in' a similar edged table and it looked great |

Lovely 10mm shots, they really get the grandeur of Napoleonic wargaming to a tee. I like the idea of interesting former entries and as you say the old recent updates list was largely redundant. garagegamer.blogspot.com |

I tend to ignore the stuff on the left anyway, I just look at the pretty pictures! Anyway, the type is pretty small, even on my 19" monitor. So it doesn't much matter what it actually says or does. Truly Awesome pictures, BTW. |
