Subject: Fiat G.50
Manufacturer: LKM Quick Reaction Force link
Scale: 1/100
Medium: metal
Price: 5.00 GBP

I finally got around to finishing some QRF Fiat G.50s that I started about a year ago. The kit consists of three parts: the fuselage, wings, and horizontal stabilizer. I finished this kit in overall Vallejo Model Color Green Ochre with US Dark Green splotches. The belly is light gray and the nose is yellow. I used a set of Wargames decals for the markings. The basic kit is of a G.50 with a full canopy. I cut away part of the canopy to create an open cockpit version. The pilot figures are converted from Battlefront Miniatures 15mm Soviet tank crews. Now I need to work on the QRF P-47 razor back and the QRF Pzl.11.

Scale Creep will be carrying the QRF line in the US. scalecreep.com/catalog

Recommendation: Highly recommended.

Excellent, they look really impressive. Thanks for the Vallejo colours too, I'm painting one of the Old Glory 15mm CR42s shortly so that'll come in handy.

Beautiful stuff there, Fanboy. :)

Kevin, the closed canopy version can be used for the SCW. That would compliment the Breda Ba.65 in SCW markings.
