Patrick jumps from one web address to the other, trying to give us the slip, but his loyal fans are not so easily put off!

This is where Patrick's figs are now located, if you are interested. If you like paper flats, his stuff is still great.

BTW: Does anybody know of a PRACTICAL way to print these guys on something sturdier than paper? I like paper figs, but I wounder if you could print them on sheets of PVC, (or something) two sided?

Regards

He is the scarlet pimpernel.
The aliens make great "blips" too.
Once you start trying to make them really sturdy you start to get into the cost of a 3d figure so why bother.
You could print them onto overhead transparency plastic?
If you follow patrick's instructions they end up pretty good. I use the clear plastic card bases from EM 4 to base mine.

go to gwindel.eu and follow the links to a couple of beautifully drawn comics.

Have you tried laminating them and then cutting them out?

You can find thin matte covers if you hunt (Staples in the UK had some)

Print onto sticky labels then attach to plastic card.

cut them out and then laminate them … otherwise the edges aren't bonded

I cut them out, used pritt stick to glue them together and they were quite stiff and usable

I printed on cardstock and when glued up they where a chore to cut out. Mine are super sturdy. I also permenantly based them on green cardstock.
I did the roman and celts
the spartans and the greeks

Pretty cool stuff and then I moved on to junior general and the samurai collection.

I Print mine on thin card, then cut and run them through a laminator – works a treat.
