Hi guys, I remember seeing somewhere on the net the entire orbats for all the protagonists fighting in the Peninsula for the year – 1811. I was wondering if any of you know this site and could put up a link for it? I lost it and for the life of me cannot find it again. Shane |

Hi Shane, The best I can come up with I'm afraid is a series of articles on napoleon-series.org I can't provide specific links to the articles cos they've got some clever software stopping that, so you will have to navigate to: Military subject: Battles & Campaigns French OOB at Albuera 16 May 1811 Military subject: Virtual Battlefield Battle of Sabugal 3 Apr 1811 Military subject: Virtual Battlefield Battle of Arroyos dos Molinos 28 Oct 1811 The first OOB in particular seems very comprehensive. Anyway hope this helps.. Kind Regards, Sparker |

Shane, Another thought – have you come across the Osprey Orders of Battle 2 'Wellington's Army in the Peninsula 1809-14'. Unfortunately they haven't produced a French version. link I have a copy handy so could answer any specific queries you may have. Kind Regards, Sparker |

Not fancy software, just right click on page, properties, copy/paste URL link They are not trying to stop you, far from it. |

Hi Sparker, yes, I have seen this book. What I am after is a complete orbat for the "entire" French army in Spain for 1811. A listing of every Regiment and btln posted in any part of the Peninsula during the year 1811. Same goes for the British Arny, the Spanish Army and the Portuguese for that matter. I have most of the info already but you never know if you are missing something or not. Shane |

Hi Shane, not sure about on the web but the book you need is 'Peninsular Armies 1808-1814' C.A. Sapherson. Available from the U.S. onmilitarymatters.com or the U.K. caliverbooks.com Great info on all armies and uniforms but the appendix's have list of all British (inc Portuguese Independent Brigades) and French units serving in 1811. Cheers, Mark |
