"WD3 down since last night" Topic

WD3 suffers from a temporary hickup.

As soon as we've managed to get the llama out of the hamster cage, and put a new, and hopefully sturdier, hamster in the wheel service will be resumed as normal.

Well, normal in a WD3 sense.

Just checked, and naturally ours is the only server down out of 25 or so ran by this php operator.

Just because Giles wants to make an announcement, give Eccles a kick

I've contacted the provider, will let you know what they say as soon as they do so.

In about the middle of the pic you can clearly see the slot where they have to insert the new hamster.

better make sure you feed it properly this time so it doesn't go on strike, British hamsters for British jobs, plus regular llama burgers provided by the management!!

OK, is anyone else having withdrawl symptoms?? twitching? repetative clicking on the wd3 link and tutting??

2 and a half days is a bit much though I suspect the server has bitten the dust! and the hamsters have ceased to be…..:(

Not a word from the provider… I think ut's time to point the attack llama in their direction.

Please let it be sorted soon. It's one of the few forums I can get at work and helps keeps me sane(ish)!

Send any messages of goodwill, or even abuse, to VB and he can pass them on to the Master of Ceremonies. Anything offensive about either Eccles or the llama are unlikely to be read out (but we will read out anything rude about VB, as he'll be there).

Looks like it is a virus attacking the server 19.. they are trying to fix it but it is a complex problem from what I have read…ETA for the server to be restored? no telling!

When we had our 'honeymoon' to Guadeloupe I took a load of Advanced Squad Leader counters to clip in the evenings. My wife still twitches at the sound of nail clippers!
