The Austin LSHM gamers have begun a hypothetical campaign set in 1431. There are 20 players covering Europe and Asia Minor. The purpose is to serve as a campaign generator for Field of Glory battles. The first turn generated five battles. I've posted a short campaign update with photos at lshm.net Additional photos of the Turkey-Venice and England-France battles are at link David |

Speaking as a totally neutral observer, those Venetians are the most terrifically painted figures in wargaming history! Or not. |

*Chuckle* I have no idea where that slip came from. David M. doesn't even play FOW as far as I know. He's into ancients, big into navals, and ACW. Dave |

I wish I could have gotten in on the campaign. They have something like 20 players. Sadly, I don't have a medieval army ( I have 10mm classic Indian, 10mm Early Imperial Roman, and 15mm Gauls). I do have a 10mm Swiss army patiently waiting for a slot on my painting table. Perhaps, I'll get a chance to be a sub-commander for the Swiss player already in the game at some point Dave |
