Is there anything avialable and in production in the way of V2 models larger than the Pendraken "10mm" (I figure about 1:150) piece? I am looking for it to use as a retro dropship for 6mm SF gaming. |

There is a 1/69(?) scale model by Revell – it's old and OOP. You can find 'em on eBay – a TMP member was selling one not long ago. w.

You might want to see if you can get your hands on a Denny's Rocket Cup. I've obtained a few for my Retro-Rocketships. link I've got to update this article. I've got 3 now in the works and finished putting landing gear on these. |

I know Pegasus Models (aka Musem Models) makes a 1/48 snap model of the V2. It's pretty widely available. link You could also check out their 1/72 Apollo 27 rocket link or the rest of their Sci-Fi sets link |

Off the top of me 'ead – Revell has/had a 1:69 plastic kit, and Pegasus has a 1:48 plastic snap together. Revell also had a very nice 1:54 kit which is sadly out of production. Found this: link Hope that helps. Al | ravenfeast.deviantart.com |

The Condor models 1/72 scale kit is nice. Fairly cheap, and pops up on Ebay quite frequently. |

How big do you want to go? There are some pretty big plastic models of the V-2 out there. Revell does a V-2 in 1/54: auction Dragon does one in 1/35: auction There are other V-2 models out there if you search, including paper models that you can scale to the size you want: currell.net/models/v2.htm |

Did Revell do two V-2 kits? I've seen listings for a 1/54 version and a 1/69 version. |

I have a very OOP one in 1/100 by Faller, produced in the 60's. Came as a set of a V1, a V2, a transporter and a launching platform for the V2. |

First of all
Thanks to Jimmy 214 for link to PEGASUS! I'm ordering one of the SAUCERS asap! and then the Apollo 27 etc!!! The V2 links were nice, The 'Aircraft of the world' candy toys also had a V2
rare/lit? But the Pegasus kits, like the SAUCER/UFO
are EXACTLY what my NEPTUNIAN's need to 'pimp their ride' Slishfully, Sgt DWW: Tiki-bartentacle on duty in Basement! |

That was me, I think. I sold one on Ebay not too long ago. And listed it in the Market place. I have a second one, if you are interested. It is the Revell 1/69 scale V2 with launch pad and stuff. I think it is complete but not absolute. It looks like it has it all. Email me at: pzkw3m@aol.com if you are interested Cheers! -Troy |

Thanks guys, lots of leads and those card models look pretty cool – probably quite adaptable as well. |

link hobbylinc sells Estes model rockets starting around 5 bucks. V-2 is also a pretty easy scratch build with a paper towel tube and some balsa or plasticard fins. Keep in mind a that a foot or so tall rocket still has a smaller table footprint than a Land Raider due to the fact that she's standing on her tail. |

Those new Pegasus kits are wicked cool. Just stoked my retro-sci fi urge again. |
