I like your thornbush barricade; what's it made from?

YankeePedlar0110 Feb 2009 5:39 a.m. PST

Rubberized horse hair.

Looks like a great game and I'd imagine a lot of fun was had playing with such nicely painted figs on such good terrain.

David, you must be using the wrong rules then. Field of battle, Battles for Empire and even The Sword and the Flame provide games that are dynamic and end in very close contests.

Thanks,

John

Alternatively take a leaf out of Peter Gilder's book and have the Mahdists controlled by a series of reaction tables and have all the players as Imperialist commanders on the same "team". IIRC Peter Gilder based his native reaction charts on those for the Indians in Tabletop Games' Pony Wars rules.

I think they are Hovels, the A Frames, and the old Ian Weekley the Bell Tents. I can't really remember, I'd had them in the bits box for so long….They are bound to be 25/28mm.

Great looking campsite. Love the tents. Love the Perry heliograph team etc. Are the Naval Brigade Perry as well?

Yes, the Naval Brigade are from Perry Miniatures. I am hoping to get some Indian infantry and their new cavalry soon.
