Excellent mini's. I Love the bubble helmets. I don't paint much sci-fi but I feel all inspired now.

Faust23, I realise the frosting from the CA glue wasn't the effect you wanted, but it could be justified, as condensation on the inside of the helmet?

Otherwise lovely paintjobs!

You can also get CA glue that does not fog, it's made for clear parts.

Great job! Love the bubble helmet, fog and all.

Nice! And, yeah, the frosting doesn't bother me, either.

Testors makes a glue for attaching clear canopies to model planes. I've used that for jobs like this. Stronger than white glue or tacky glue.

Thanks for the feedback. I popped her helmet and cut off about a millimeter off it and reattached it with some tacky glue. Looks much better. Lower helmet clearance too and that makes it snug in to the frame of the collar better. I'll update the pics sometime in the next day or so.

Just two small dabs of tacky glue worked just fine. When I got up this morning I picked her up by the bubble and it stayed on just fine.

BigLee – nice blog bro. Totally dig your Fallen One and your Dragon Born fighter. The coloring on the Dragon Born is Bleeped text!

Damn, I got edited! The Dragon Born is sweet! There, shouldn't get censored for using a positive slang involving breasteses….

Very nice, and yes the fog on the clear plastic is fine, In the old series UFO the clear parts of the helmets always fogged up.

cheers Ty
