ECW Project Blog Updated! Paint Your Horses Quickly and Done Right! Oil Painted horses done quickly and done right…don't ever fool around with crappy washes, colors that are flat and one dimensional and just look "tabletop quality". Should have these guys done this week or over next weekend. Am ready to get to playin'! link |

Steve – I did the same with 'real' oils awhile ago and can attest to the effect. Will have to try the water based version – though I must admit I did inhale the oil fumes
.. One variation was that I painted the horses first then glued the semi-painted riders on, fiddily but made painting the horses easier! Once stuck on I could complete the riders while the horses were still on their temporary cardboard bases. Cannot match your dedication – my maximum is 10 horses/riders at a go! Have book marked your blog site. Cheers Garry |
