I travelled with some good friends to Hott Wax in Coulmbus Ohio. 7 hours in a car each way was a stretch for some HoTT, but it was worth it in the end for great company and games. I've updated my blog with pictures of the final Narniana and of the prize army; Robin Hood, by Splintered Light. David miniatureminions.blogspot.com |

Excellent David- incidently you were unsure about Robin a Dell- it's Alan a Dale. Your Narnia army is an inspiration -I'll probably use the Splintered Light stuff in my 28mm HOTT mob (especially the new stuff!!!). |

Thank you mashrewba – I knew it didn't sound quite right. I'll fix it post haste. David |

Congratulations with your win. The army looks excellent and has really inspired me to put something similar together. Nice blog as well by the way. |

Wow, that Narnian army is excellent! Vibrant and zippy with lots of character. Well done! |

"or paint Aslan as a god element" Whilst he does seem to turn up and leave when he feels like it, he is best represented as a Paladin anyway. Indeed the definition of Paladin in the HOTT rules includes 'magical lions'. It's a beautiful army, though; I'd love to see more pictures of individual elements. |

David, Great looking army. I love seeing the SLM stuff painted up so well. I also love the use of the old Ral Partha griffon. Congrats on the win and I hope you enjoy the Robin Hood army. David |

David, Thanks for the kind words and for donating and painting such a wonderful army. I can't wait to test them out in battle. Much of our drive home was spent in coming up with complimentary elements for it. We thought a stand with King Richard would be fun and perhaps Ivanhoe and his knights. There are a lot of fun possibilities. With so many bow elements I could easily morph it into a nice DBA historical army as well. The Welsh spring to mind immediately. Thanks again, David C. |
