Here is a test miniature for my Savoyard-Spanish army of the WLOA. It is a Venexia 18mm, ordered from Olde Rivertowne miniatures.A whole regiment is in the making. Great miniatures, that like a good painting. I undercoated white, layered Fortress Grey, put a layer of brown ink, layered or dry brushed a mix of 2 parts white, one part grey.

Take care. Venexia miniatures are great but a little fragile when it comes to Standards and Pikes. I coated them with diluted PVA to reinforce them.

I've painted a bunch of those up. They are nice figures. I start with a black undercoat and do them with gray 10, then grey 5 and then do a very light grey 1 dry brush.
