Subject says it all. Where is the best place to get these? Talking Humvees, LAV-25 and such.

Michtoy.com. Check the 1/72.

Target and Toys R Us sometimes have the modern FOV stuff on the shelves.

I have some coming from Diecast Airplane, and I have used Wartoyz as well to my great satisfaction. Michtoy is on my list for decent prices on some AAVP7A1's…

Oh, and there are no die-cast LAV-25s out there. I have heard reports that Easy Models will release a plastic ready-to-go one this year, but I have no official confirmation of that.

You're welcome and I understand the curse. I directed it at the Ambush Alley guys right after they put this AAR on TMP back in the beginning of January…

They may have made one at one time, but I have never found anyplace on the web that still sells them. I've only found photos, darnitall! Please, Kabrank, if you know of a shop that sells them (and the link you gave is just pictures, I think) please share it. Thanks!

So Liberation has them on their web site? I missed that, and it doesn't come up on Google. I've dealt with him before and it was a good experience. I'll give him a call!

I have a die cast LAV. Found it at Wal-Mart a few years back. I think it was made by Matsio (sp?).

You can find 1/72 Lav-25 on Ebay pretty reasonably. Here's 1 that is a "buy it now" on Ebay for $6.48.

Wow, I Searched Ebay earlier today and that particular model didn't come up. I wish it wasn't in Italy, but it's at a MUCh lower price than the last pair that was offered here in the States a few weeks ago. Those were $18 USD a piece with ten bucks shipping! I want one, but NOT for thirty bucks!!

Thanks for the link!

nazrat04 Feb 2009 10:07 p.m. PST

That's weird-- I copy and paste the exact description from that auction onto the Ebay search engine and it comes up with NOTHING. No wonder I couldn't find it earlier today!

Dragon Master05 Feb 2009 12:41 p.m. PST

You have to select "worldwide" under the location section or you will only search within the country you're from.

nazrat05 Feb 2009 4:21 p.m. PST

Ah. Thanks.

To bring this topic forward 8 years, are there any newer sources for modern military vehicles in 20mm? I'm looking for modern US vehicles, including M1, M2/M3 and soft skin vehicles.

Thanks!
