The kiddies were off to the Grandparents last night so Amanda returned to her role as righteous defender of all things pretty and clean (the Elves) and I returned to my role as despotic tyrant ruler of all things hairy and smelly (the vikings).

She's catching on… darn it…!

Here's how it all turned out:

You're a lucky man :) I'll have to see if my wife would be willing to try HOTT. I know my kids will.

What wargamer wouldn't want a HOTT wife?

I went on about HOTT so much that my wife said she'd give it a go- 10 games in a row I lost!!
Now we even take a little set of stuff on holidays.
She will insist however on using plastic penguins, gonks etc against painstakingly painted miniatures.
The other interesting HOTT thing was a couple of female chums in the Food Tech(OK cooking/home ec)dept at my school prepared two whole armies out of food and we had a lunch time tournament -hilarious -the losers were eaten (the army that is…)
