Subject: Pe-2
Manufacturer: True North Miniatures link
Scale: 1/144
Medium: white metal
Price: $10 USD

The kit consists of a one piece fuselage/wing/tail assembly. The mini required a little cleaning but nothing too demanding. I added a gun barrel to the turret but otherwise made no modifications to the True North mini. The mini comes with decals of the national markings. The slogans and numbers on the aircraft are decals from Microscale microscale.com . I didn't want to hassle with trying to paint windows under the chin and at mid-fuselage so I made some decals and then painted in some details to make them more closely resemble the canopy and turret.

Recommendation: Nice mini, I recommend it.

Post assembly:
Decals: True North, Microscale, and homemade
Paint: Vallejo Model Colors
Primer: Rust-Oleum Gray Automotive Primer
Matte Finish: Krylon Crystal Clear Matte

Hi Kimball, I'm not sure what they say…I couldn't even swear they were Russian. Kevin

"Death to the Fascist"
"the Motherland"
"Moscow to Berlin"

Planes look great.

There was a T-shirt worn by students at the Defense Language Institute – "I learn Russian so you don't have to".
