Subject: Fokker D.XXI
Manufacturer: True North Miniatures link
Scale: 1/144
Medium: white metal
Price: $6 USD USD

The kit consists of a one piece fuselage/wing/tail assembly and two landing gears. After a little parts cleaning the kit went together easily. I finished this kit in Finnish livery with decals from True North Miniatures. A couple of the models needed a little putty around the right side of the cowling but other than that there were no casting issues. The minis have engraved panel lines but they look a little too pronounced to me.

Recommendation: This is an okay kit for gaming. It's available, it's not too expensive, and it looks like a D.XXI. For painting competitions I think I would opt for the resin kit made by Kami de Korokoro that runs ~$15 and is a little harder to find.

Post assembly:
Decals: True North
Paint: Vallejo Model Colors (medium olive, panzer gray, light blue)
Primer: Rust-Oleum Gray Automotive Primer
Matte Finish: Krylon Crystal Clear Matte

Good job, as usual.
I like planes with spats.

Nice paintjob!

However from the pics it seems that the models themselves have oddly shaped cowling, rear fuselage & rudder.

Mismini, did you know that Fokker's were certainly not used as top of the line fighters during Continuation War (the paintjob is for Continuation War)?

The top dog around that time was Brewster B.239. Which was replaced in latter part of the war by Me109G.
