Hey Folks:

I just uploaded a movie on to YouTube about the Malta Convoy campaign I'm currently playing solitaire. It's based on "Operation Pedestal" and there' been one major encounter so far.

Enjoy!

Looks great. What rules are you using for solo play?

Thanks guys! To determine the types of encounters I'm using this "Malta Convoy," by Warpspawn, now in the public domain:

ftp://ftp.grognard.com/download/games/board/maltaconvoy.pdf

I downloaded it from Webgrognards:

I modified the "Enemy Force" chart on pg 2 to provide the Axis with more options. Instead of the strategic movement chart on pg 4, I'm using Avalanche Press's "Bomb Alley" map and counters to show the task forces' progression and location of encounters.

Once there is an encounter, I use "Victory at Sea" by Mongoose Publications.

Target priorities for the Germans are: Aircraft carriers, then merchant ships, while for the Italians its the other way around.

That was great.

Three of us are planning on doing Naval combat in the Med as well.
We are also using A&A ships, with VAS rules.
One of the players just picked up the board game "Bomb Alley" as well.
He said it's loaded with scenarios.

I'll be sharing your video with him and the other player.
Thanks for sharing.
Good luck with it.

Thank you everyone for your comments. But I must admit, an error has been brought to my attention. In both scenes where the British fighters drive off the Kondor, I misidentified them as "Sea Harriers." They are in fact, "Sea Hurricanes."

Thanks for your praise and understanding.
