I seem to remember reading somewhere that someone was looking to make a 3-D shopping mall (or a section of one) like the one in the 2004 Dawn of the Dead film (Crossroads Mall?). Or was it a grocery store*? I think it wasn't made of paper or cardboard, but something a bit more substantial. Did I imagine this, or was this actually discussed and executed? Thanks. CC * Come to think of it, a vegan store would be ironic. |

Somebody turned a 3D game board into a zombie mall once (Can't remember where I saw it). I think it was a Barbie playset toy that was on the same scale as Heroclix. |

Durned if I remember where I saw it, but it was not a Barbie toy -- it was an actual boardgame, "Mall Madness" or something similar, where you had to move shoppers around to get the best bargains. It made a dandy, if somewhat small, zombie battleground. Steve Jackson Games sells battle mats printed with the "Mall Of The Dead," including color cardboard minis that include a zombie Santa. I've run several scenarios on these maps. If I had the storage space, I'd love to build three-dee terrain to match the maps. |

I played in Ed's [of 2 hour wargmaes] ATZ games this past weekend at Recruits. He used a repainted Mall Madness board for 15mm zombie action and like Rebel said above, it is perfect. Amalric |

I wonder if a smaller footprint might still have the same effect . . . link Just imagine it with more modern roof peaks, a lift-off roof and smaller stores inside. Dan |

One of the guys on the infinity forum built himself a small subway station (only 4x4), last time I saw a battle report from him was part of his zombie campaign game. I don't think he's done a mall
yet. |
