I'm looking at adding some Typhoons to my flames of war force, and the BF ones are rather expensive, so I've been looking around for 1:100, 1:144 or 1:200 scale typhoons, other scale could be ok, but I can't seem to find anything other than Skytrex. Can anyone point me in other directions?
Thanks.

Typing "Typhoon" into the message board title search will get you reviews of at least two others….

Armaments in Miniature (Dave Schmid) probably has a 1/100 Typhoon in his line. And it will be fantastic.

Yep….Mk IB for $12.00 USD which includes the rockets.
Look under "Manufacturers" on here.

There is a Prebuilt out, in 1/144, from a Japanese Company.. The Name fails me right now, but it is one of the major companies.
Ah found it….. it was at Hobby Link Japan (HLJ) here is the link:

This is actually a 10 pack of planes and unfortunately you might get 0-10 of the Typhoons, pending on how "randomly" they pack the box. Cost is about $43, (Y4,000 or 4,000 Yen) for the set of 10, which comes with a Desert paint scheme and a GRey/Green scheme for the Typhoons. Other planes which come with these are: Shoki or a Shinden.. both late War Japanese Planes.

hope that helps.

I have the minifigs one, metal 1:144 (ish) -- the only downside is that it doesn't come with decals.

The Airfix plane is a great model, but is 1:72 scale.

Old Glory do a Typhoon in their 15mm Flyin' Fokkers range.

I searced Ebay for diecast 1:100 and found a perfect tempest in D-Day stripes.

Try this, he appears to have three for sale.

VonStengel, that is the F-Toys Wing Kit desert cam version, he has the "Special" version as well which has D-Day stripes, very exxy. The NWE version is scarce and hard to find.

Yeah, well eBay is your friend on this.
You can regularly find the air power sets for half price plus shipping on eBay.
It is where i got my set of Typhoons. :-)
