I purchased eight of the metal mini's for the Board Game, the problem is two fold. The larger mini's (32mm) do not fit onto the bases that they come with, also if I put them onto larger bases they will not fit into the squares on the game board! I guess that I'm just a little disappointed. I suppose I could try and play with 3D terrain..anyone out there tried this? |

For the cost of the figures, it is a shame they do not fit the game board. I've been interested in making a 3D version of the game tiles as I find them too dark at times, but I have way to many other projects ahead of that one. But I am glad to know that the figures are bigger. If I ever do make a 3D board, I'll make it a bit larger than the boards that come with the game. Those links are great by the way. Also if you look on board game geek and search for OKKO you will find a gallery of another nice 3D board. It's actually what drew my attention to the game. Matthew |

I don't want to put anyone off, the mini's are very nice indeed and it is only as I said, the larger fig's that are a problem. I'm going to work on them again tonight. I checked their website and the mini's are mounted on these bases. One minor detail is that they chose to use round bases instead of square that would match the board, and as "facing" is very important square would seem to be the obvious choice. |

Warjack. I take it then that the red dot on the base is for the facing rules? At least there looks to be a dot from the pictures I have seen. Did you buy them painted or unpainted? Also, where did you get them from? Thanks. Matthew |

45thdiv: Hi, you are correct about the 'red dot'. I bought them unpainted, they come in a 'clam shell' blister pack. I ordered them from Noble Knight Games and I must say that I was very happy with their service. Link: nobleknight.com/default.asp Hope that this is of some help. Cheers, Paul. |

I also have all the starting minis of the Okko game and they look awesome. I too want to make some kind of 3d terrain for this game, and was thinking about the afro samurai game which has some nice inspirational scenery pieces |

The only problem with the links is that the sites you go to are written in some strange language, never before seen on earth*. Oh well. _____________ *Yes, I know it's French. |
