Yes. I'm checking for new developments. I was just curious if any smart sculptors and manufacturers were anticipating a demand for them early this summer, when the movie comes out. CC |

Our hobby is a bit small for people to risk anticipating much. On the bright side, the new Terminator movie is slated for at least one sequel, so there's plenty of time to play catch up. |

"Our hobby is a bit small for people to risk anticipating much." The more reason to make sure that things are timed so as to maximize sales when interest is at its peak, right? CC |

For my Term game I, luckily, had some original LE TechCom figures. However, I supplemented them with GZG NAC and FSE figs- the GZG helmeted figs are a good fit when compared to the helmeted guard standing behind Connor in the beginning of T2. The FSE (actually I think its FSE- could have got the factions mixed) have French Foreign Legion style kepi hats which mix in well with soft hats worn by T2 Tech Com troops. Amongst us Term fans is the general consensus that T1 post J-Day scenes with Kyle Reese represent the time period when Tech Com had a more "guerilla" look as can be seen by the wide variety of clothing. In T2 they definately had a more uniform appearance. For T4 the director, McG, has the beginnings of the resistance primarily dressed in current uniforms, gear and weapons which would make sense. So for T1- use any high tech looking mix and match troops, T2 use GZG figs, and T4 modern or ultra-modern forces. On a persoanl note- I am more anticipating the Skynet machines and am hoping they will be mini's compatible. Human troops are easy to find- SKynet forces, especially vehicles, are not. |

.I already use the RAFM drones for part of my skynet forces. I also use the Necron Scarabs as scout robots. |

The RAFM drone is more along the lines of a possible SKynet drone but the spider legged ones- even the update- dont do it for me personally as we have seen nothing cannon to imply spider legged machines. However, since we have only seen a grand total of like 4 minutes total of future war stuff with only 7 unique Skynet forces I would say use anythin that looks even remotely cannon (the updated one from SMiley is sexy
) SO far its been tracked, hover, and with the leaked pictures from T4 wheeled (the Term motorbike) and eel-like (the waterborne terms). It should be noted that in T4 we should not be seeing any plasma weapons as this tech is to be developed by SKynet later. All of the weaponry observed on early Term machines for T4 are still bullets, rockets, etc. No metion has been made of the use of lasers or any other directed energy weapon at this point. |

"No metion has been made of the use of lasers or any other directed energy weapon at this point." Didn't the HKs fire some sort of energy weapons during the Kyle Reese flashbacks (T1)? CC |
