When I saw the helmets on these guys, it just dawned on me . . . link If the GW 40K Kroot were to actually wear suits fitted to their anatomy, what in the world would they look like? In case you don't know what the Kroot are:

It would look like whoever the Kroot ate and looted the suit from. They'd need something ridiculous looking, like a suit of fully powered armour… but with a beak. |

Suitably Tau-ish, to say the least. A conversion using Tau equipment would be good. But alternatively, don't forget that the Kroot are spacefaring race in their own right. Their warspheres operate entirely indepenedently of the Tau. It it highly unlikely that they have space ships without any kind of space suits! I think something vaguly steam-punkish or pulpy would have the right feel. |
