Here's a picture of my latest 15mm unit, the 2nd Prussian Infantry Regt. (1815), based on a 2"x2" base for my new Easy Napoleonic Rules.

donlowry, nicely based…your army is growing quickly.

Thanks, but actually it grows slowly, as I am a reluctant painter, and I've spent my time writing rules lately. However, I acquired some more painted figures off of ebay recently, so I hope to have a few more units done before long.

I flock my bases with Renaissance Ink's flocking gel, a thick acrylic goo, which I sprinkle with sand from the yard before it dries. (That's why the figures look dusty -- I should have wiped them off before taking the picture.) When painted green and dry-brushed with light green and cream or other light color it looks a lot like grass (more so at gaming ranges than in the close-up photos).
