Hi, I just got my 15mm female cannibals off to the mouldmakers. Now I have to decide what proportions of them I should have made up. I had the following sculpted: Close combat fighters (head-axes and spears) (3 poses) Archers (two poses) Blowpipers (two poses) Chieftainess (1 pose) Basket of heads (for the broth) Which would you be most likely to buy, and in what proportions? All the best, khurasanminiatures.tripod.com |

Our North American native pre-Columbian range should mix in well with your range to give more variety in warriors. Are you doing fancy haristyles or basicly long hanging unbraided hair? Have the scultor add a head or two hanging from their waist! |

I'd go heavy on the close combat warriors. I'm not sure that 'archery' and 'cannibalism' connect in people's minds. I'd want ferocious women with axes, clubs and big knives. Well, not in actual everyday life, of course. |

Trust me, your male North Americans will not mix with my female southeast asian cannibals! My models are inspired by real cannibals, but they are definitely pulp/fantasy models. Think I mentioned that I already got the pieces from the sculptor. He tried to add heads to their belts too, but the cannibals I based my models on, the kalinga, did not do that, so I asked him to take them off. My cannibals would not wear the heads, they would eat them! their story will follow when the models are released. Meanwhile, any thoughts on my question appreciated, thanks. |

Shucks I left that off. I tend to agree with Mexican Jack. Close Combat are more flexible for both unit and skirmish combat. |

Khurasan, How about this? 15 Close combat fighters (head-axes and spears) (3 poses) 4 Archers (two poses) 4 Blowpipers (two poses) 1 Chieftainess (1 pose) I think that would total 24, right? I've noticed that you have many packs with 24 figures in each: link Maybe thrown in the "baskets of heads (for the broth)" for multiple orders. Thanks. Dan |
