Depends what 'best' means. Attila probably the best 'diplomat' certainly got the best deals from the Romans and Byzantines. Didn't one of those barbarians become Emperor of Rome? Built a coliseum? Best political aspirations. Astrix and Obelisk -- punniest barbarians. Were those Mongol guys barbarians? Bet no one said that to their face ;-). mjc
