Has Bill started lately charging extra for the use of vowels in sentences? I guess I will need to start sticking to pure consonant postings then too.

That is the problem with the mobile phone culture, everything is abbreviated like B4 etc. I'm desperately trying to teach my nephew that that's okay to do on the phone but when sending emails or leaving notes its best not to, and to get him in the habit of spelling properly.

Back to your thread – while I have not painted (or own) any WWII from Renegade, I have their Celts, ECW and ACW – all great figures!

20 mil is the one true ww2 scale.
Well.
Except for 10mil.

hi combat,

I have painted a fair few and really like the sculpting style. I think they look as good as anything else on the market,

Egyptians had it right to start with.

We are headed towards hieroglyphics in the future.

Hey combatpainter:

There was a topic a while ago that concerned the Renegade WWII lines (scale and that sort of thing) and I think one of the guys posted a link to some painted minis – have a look here:

TMP link

Hope that helps

The Germans are nice but half of them look like they're struggling against a stiff headwind…

Warlord, thanks for the heads up about the Renegade.

Your thread?

You can start start a thread, but you don't own it.

Hey combatpainter:

Not a problem, I purchased quite a bit of them myself (not painted any yet) I am guessing after they paint up they will fit in.

In the link there are concerns about size and such and after seeing them "in hand" I can see why, they are not bad models but they do look odd compared to other lines.

But people are different also…

God luck!

Ah! Cool observation.

Warlord,

They look acceptable. I especially like the 34 and 42 models. A small step away from the standard market poses.

In the pic they look quite large though. :(

CCollins06 Jan 2009 11:55 p.m. PST

I'm not that sure about them, the LMG's look enormous!

A pity there are some poses that look quite nice.

And what are the brits running about with? They're fairly odd looking those SMLEs.

I think It's fair that combatpainter is critical about the direction of the thread, he may not own it but sticking to the basic theme of a thread seems not an unreasonable request, though this IS TMP, who says what is reasonable applies?

Cheers.
