I'm shaking the moths out of my wallet as we type
.. A question though, can you, with dice alone, concoct an adventure from beginning to end? I'm thinking in terms of solo or co-operative play. Obviously all blanks probably can't or shouldn't be dice driven in a 'serious' game but in general can the 'scene' progression' be driven random events alone if desired? |

Hey Captain – Yep. There's been a complaint from some that there are too many tables in THW products. What they don't take the time to figure out is that when fighting table top battles you only use two or three tables 95% of the time. Most of the tables are there for informative purposes and to help you build scenarios. LTL builds on that idea to allow you to do exactly what you speak about. I NEVER use a game master or referee when playing any THW games. I always play solo or cooperatively because the game mechanics will design the whole adventure from beginning to end as well as run the enemy forces on the tabletop. When I play all I know is who I have in my force and who the enemy may be and what the objective is. That's it and the story plays out before me. Hope this helps. Ed |

Yes it does. We are in agreement on the chart count, in fact often they can be ignored due terrain limits etc. It sounds as if you could actually be surprised in a solo co-op which is what I'm currently looking for. OK I'm in. If I don't like the layout, I'll just fill in the blanks with my crackpot ideas, lead count willing. |
