Hi, folks. I just posted a Word document of Esair's Desert Terrain making article on Yahoo's Cavewars Group. link TMP News here: TMP link I just want everyone to know that I am not the author of the work. I have a habit of taking gems like that, making them into into Word Docs for my own little terrain making scrapbook for my own use. But this one was just too good to keep to myself. True credit has to go to the makers and authors at: baueda.com They have a lot of fantastic stuff there. Check it out. |

I just want everyone to know that I am not the author of the work. Wouldn't it be best to put the author information in the document? I have a habit of taking gems like that, making them into into Word Docs for my own little terrain making scrapbook for my own use. But this one was just too good to keep to myself. Without permission, what you are doing is illegal. Why not just ask first? |

Claudio: "That said, we made it for people to enjoy and have fun, so no harm done here, but a mention and a link to the copyright owner would have been in order
:)" I think Claudio is a great sport and knows that Warren was doing it without any real malice. This is a learning experience for everyone. CC |

"This is a learning experience for everyone." Nonsense. Most of us know not to copy things without permission. |

Thanks to Claudio and CC, I really didn't mean any wrong doing, but aecurtis and the Editor are 100% correct in this. Lesson learned, and admission is part of the lesson. I've gotten permission from Claudio and have updated the document with a link pointing back to it's site of origin, and have re-uploaded it back on the Yahoo group. Once again
sorry folks. |

Allen: "Most of us know" Exactly. Most, not all. That's why I'm giving the benefit of the doubt on intent, instead of assuming malice. CC |

I must admit I do the same, converting useful web pages to Word files and saving them. Though I am selfish and just keep them for myself. Eventually they get printed off and find their way into an increasingly overfilled ring binder. It is a pity that web pages are not more print friendly but this is not the time or the place for that argument. |

"Eventually they get printed off and find their way into an increasingly overfilled ring binder." Guilty
same intent. "Though I am selfish and just keep them for myself." What I normally do
blew the rule this once. Never again. "It is a pity that web pages are not more print friendly
" Ain't that the truth. |

"Never again." Don't say that, my man. It was a great idea. Just do it with permission next time and all is good. CC |
