I've decided to make 2009 my year for painting my sizeable stocks of Warmaster minis (probably to use with Mighty Armies, when it comes out). Anyway, to get the creative juices going, I thought I'd have a wander through the articles on the Specialist Games page. Lo and behold, GWs improvements mean they're non-existent! Does anyone know whether the substantial number of articles, scenarios and campaigns can still be found out there? Yours, in consternation, Bill. |

I checked the UK site and at this link: link are the main rules, updates, and army lists pdfs. Is this what you are looking for? |

Thanks, but no, that's not it. They used to have shedloads of stuff – scenarios, campaigns, heaps of alternate rules. Bill. |

Also, although I don't think it has been updated for quite some time: brumbaer.de has lists and introductory information. The Yahoo groups are also good sources. These are the biggest that I have found: link and link Have fun! |

Thanks to CyberShadow's volunteer efforts, check this site for Specialist Games info: sg.tacticalwargames.net It's not all there yet but it's growing. |

If anyone knows how to contact Cybershadow or anyone else working on the new SG page, please let me know. I downloaded all the files from the SG site before it shut down & would like to find a place to host them online. & I'd prefer to do that instead of sending out a bunch of individual CDs to people that want the articles. |

Oooh, goody, that's (some of) what I was after m4jumbo. I look forward to seeing it grow (to save Black Cavalier time and energy!) |

Hi. I was pointed towards this thread. Like a few people, I think that I have pretty much all of the resources from the old SG site before it was closed down (their servers must have taken an almighty hit in the last few weeks!). The current situation is not getting access to the files, but arranging with SG to get permission to make them available. Andy was kind enough to allow me to host all of the Fanatic Magazine resources, and I am slowly working backwards through the issues to make these available. This, together with the small number of documents that were moved across to the new GW web site, should make up more than ninety percent of the resources that used to be available. If anyone has additional resources, or categories of resources, that were around (for example, Epic Armageddon force lists that were not a part of the Fanatic Magazine online schedule – although in this case new versions have updated the older versions and are therefore freely available), please do get in touch. This also goes for any comments or feedback on the process, or ideas on directions to go for the SG community from here (although, clearly we have some ideas of our own too). I can be contacted at: cybershadow [at] tacticalwargames [dot] net Many thanks, and all the best. CyberShadow |
