Anyone watching this? I haven't read the books it was based on, but the first to episodes were very good. Its not Lord of the Rings but its good and its the only fantasy show on tv right now.

I think it's pretty good also. I know its not exactly spot on with the books, but still good. Its in repeats right now, but you can find episodes on the net (Hulu or Sling I think). I hope it continues.

Its not Lord of the Rings . . .
No, no it's definitely not "The Lord of the Rings".

I've never read the books, but I did watch about 15 minutes of the first episode. I thought it was pretty bad, only a little above the Conan TV series of a few years back.

I actually like the episodes I've seen. Decent for a fantasy/medieval show.

I read the first book years ago but don't remember it that well. I did see the first few episodes but it didn't impress me enough to continue watching.

Well I like it. I have read all the books and it is a little spotty with the books. I watch it as a show and enjoy it for what it is.

I'm a fan, but y'all are looking at it all wrong. Not "It's no Lord of the Rings", but "It's no Xena".

For fans of cheese Saturday afternoon fantasy stuff like Xena/Herc, Legend is a very worthy addition to the genre.

Plush Kahlen's a cutie. :)

Was that what was on CW last night? I couldn't figure out what was going on, so I went back to Rosemary and Thyme on PBS.

Loved them both I was very sad to see them both go

And Yes Legend of the Seeker does make a nice addition
