PS These are not Zombie Elephants, although given how things are going I will not be surprised if those get posted soon as well! ;-)

Anyone with a soldering iron, or wood burning set, can Zombify their elephants.

Griefbringer03 Jan 2009 2:00 p.m. PST

Alternatively, you can just replace the crew with zombies.

What about Zardoz elephants?

Pijlie03 Jan 2009 2:10 p.m. PST

You mean elephants in huge red diapers?

Howdahs? What are these going to be used for: tourist rides?

What about Zardoz elephants?

Amongst the inside people within the industry, these are simply called as Zardophants.

You could simply convert yours from normal nellies by making the red diapers out of a piece of quality toilet paper soaked in watered-down PVA glue.

Or just call Neil in the Warstore and he might sculpt you a few in the metal.

Plastic elephants could be groovy.

They wouldn't have sufficient gravitas.

I think they would be great. I had 6 elephants on the table in a game yesterday. Some were resin, some were lead. They were all brittle. None broke as they were well handled, in both senses.

I still have 8 Airfix Zoo Set #2 plastic elephants in my Carthaginian army. They never do well, and I blame it on their light weight. The table should sag when you have 8 elephants there.

"Better Zardophants than syncophants!" my dad always said.

But if they were plastic, gamers wouldn't be able to toss them across the room and make a satisfying crunch? Unless they were solid core plastic..hmmm…

Well researched and proportioned elephants would be very welcome.

The party with the elephant symbol has become an endangered specie.

I think the Minifigs 25mm elephants are worth a look- not huge and cheap as chips -almost…
