We're (Mailed Fist) putting on a participation game – hopefully fast, fun & furious largely aimed at people new to gaming or WW2 gaming – simple tank vs tank

I'm a York club member so can help with this. Here goes;

We have, up to press a 28mm Great Northern War game, a 15mm Samurai game by Peter Pig, an Aliens game, a Gangster game, Operation Cobra WW2 in 20mm, a 28mm Piquet WW2 game, an Uncharted Seas and AT43 game (sorry I don't know what they are so that could be two games run by the same people, I'm sure they'll be great whatever they are) a 28mm Eastern Front WW2 game, the Battle of Trafalgar, Secrets of the Third Reich, the Battle of the Boyne, Warhammer 40K and "The Breath of Allah" Warhammer game. Plus of course the games run by Mailed Fist and First Corps mentioned above and there may well be one or two others also, the list I have in front of me has "TBA" next to one or two names. The gentleman who took the award for best display game last year is also putting on a display I believe.

We will also be having a wide selection of traders of course along with refreshments and re-enactment groups.

Hope this helps.

We will be there with a game and a terrain table. We are stopping the trade stand and going back to putting on demo games. If you want us to bring any stock along get in touch and we can bring it for you to collect.
This year, the game will be a 54mm WW2 skirmish game using a mixture of metal and plastic figures. Come along and see what can be done in this big scale. It will be set just after D Day in bocage country.
We will also have an area on the table that we will be able to give ideas on how to make terrain. I should have examples of half finished work and I will be happy to discuss any terrain making topics you may have.
Finally, we will be available to discuss any terrain projects you may want us to make for you so come over and introduce yourself.

Will there be any Napoleonic games?

TMterrain31 Jan 2009 5:45 a.m. PST

We will have examples of the flags with us from Rick (Theflagdude) plus some painted 54mm figures and unpainted plastic 54mm figures.
