I am looking at the plans for expanding the range of 28mm figures for the Russo Turkish wars and am looking at the Romanians and would like peoples views as to what they would like to see. The range of RTW figures will hopefully be released within the first quarter of this year.

Further information can be obtained through Jeff at Outpost Wargames Services.

I should have added, progress of the Greens can be found in the photo section of the RTW Yahoo group (membership required), currently you will see Greens for Bulgarian volunteers, Turks and some trial Russians.

It is thought that Romanian Militia will first appear followed by regular line.

I have the Osprey book on the Russo Turkish war but I cant remember right now what the Romanian Militia looked like (if they are in there at all). I will for sure be taking a look when I get home.

Shipka,

Oddly …. I found the Dorobanti (Dorobantz)while googling the Russo-Turkish War of 1877 that evening after posting my responce and remembered them from the Osprey book … I would love to have some of those, the uniform would be fun and easy to paint.
